Elsa Schiaparelli founded Schiaparelli in 1927 inside of her Parisian apartment. After her brand's launch, she went on to become the world's first surrealist designer. During her career she dressed many A-list celebrities, including Katherine Hepburn. Elsa Schiaparelli is known for creating her signature color"Shocking Pink". She was the first designer to make colored zippers that matched the color of her fabrics, and the first designer to be on the cover on Time Magazine. She is also accredited with creating the concept of runway shows.

Despite her many successes, Elsa Schiaparelli closed her company in 1954. This caused Schiaparelli to go on a 60 year hiatus, and return to haute couture in 2014. In 2019, Daniel Roseberry was named the Artistic Director of Schiaparelli, making him the first American to ever be in charge of a French Couture house. Once he began working, he was tasked with the challenge of continuing Schiaparelli's revolutionary history- in a way that would make its founder proud.
Schiaparelli is about good taste and bad taste. It’s vulgarity and charm. It’s all of those things together, and I want to continue to let that shine- Daniel Roseberry

Since Daniel Roseberry started at Schiaparelli, his designs have caught the attention of many A-listers like Kim Kardashian, Adele, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga. Similarly to Elsa Schiaparelli, Daniel's work has revolutionized the way people see fashion: not just as clothes, but as an art form.
