Where luxury meets sporty chic 🎾

Casablanca is a new Parisian house that's on a mission to elevate leisure wear. The brand was founded by Charaf Tajer, a 36 year old self taught artist and designer. Tajer, who studied architecture loves to combine his love for art, fashion, and sports to make the designs his brand is known for. In the fall of 2020, Casablanca ( originally exclusively a menswear brand) announced that they were creating a women's collection. Over the past year the brand has increased in popularity and has received tons of celebrity fan fare from A-listers like Travis Scott and Kendall Jenner.
This year the emerging brand had its Spring/Summer 2022 fashion show that featured bright colors and channeled the Memphis Movement in Milan during the 1980s'. The Memphis Movement was an era of expression where artists used bright colors and bold patterns in their art. (Example Below)

What makes Tajer's subtle use of inspiration so compelling is his use of pastels throughout the campaign. Due to the modern day color palette, this collection feels beachy and refreshing.
Casablanca's signature "apres-sport aesthetic" is definitely going to have an impact on fashion, and (just a prediction here) we'll probably see it in an upcoming Bruno Mars Video. 😉
