“Attractive people, in attractive places, doing attractive things''

was iconic photographer Slim Aarons’ motto. Over the course of his career he captured the lives of the upper class social elites, in the most beautiful way possible. He was welcomed into their homes and gatherings to photograph what it was like to be rich in the 50s’, 60s’ and 70s.


Despite the fact that Slim Aarons photographed many rich people, in the beginning of his career he spent a lot of time taking photos of people living in war. After he finished covering wars, he made it his mission to rebrand himself. This inspired him to shoot people who lived lavish lifestyles. Even though Slim Aarons is severely underrated, he still has a major impact on photography we see today (see below).
